Last weekend everything was ready for international track competition in a racing program Speed and Pursuit at the D’Horta Velodrome. This year celebrates the 30th anniversary of the inauguration of D’Horta Velodrome, the first installation built for the Olympic Games Barcelona92 which is fully operational.
Thirty years ago the velodrome was first used by the World Championships track and to remember this date the Trofeu Ciutat de Barcelona was celebrated which it was also II Memorial Miquel Poblet. The track competition is registered in the calendar of the International Cycling Union, Class 1, the only one in Spain, it awards points for participation in the World Championship and the Track World Cup.
